As of the change to a Property Owners Association (POA Amendment), an Annual Meeting of the Glenleigh Homeowners’ Association (GHOA) is held during the summer (mid-fiscal-year). Beginning in 2026, the fiscal year begins on January 1 each year. The Annual Meeting is mandated by the GHOA Bylaws and is the forum for homeowners to come together to discuss, nominate, and elect Board Members recommend & volunteer for committees / chair positions, and discuss the state of GHOA or any area that affects the operation of the GHOA.
In addition, an optional budget meeting may be called to discuss or vote on the following fiscal year’s budget. The Board must recommend that budget at least 30 days prior to the fiscal year begins, to be approved or rejected by the eligible homeowners. In any given year, if a budget meeting is held, minutes should be stored of that meeting on the website, or available for inspection.
